Exhaust replacement- Cat back

Is it possible to do a stock replacement in my garage? Napa says its 141$ for the pipe behind the cat. back. and then 135 for the cat itself. Would that include everythign i need to replace everything? i searched for a how to but couldnt find one. anyhelp is appreciated

You really should list the vehicle in your signature; there's no way to begin to answer you question without knowing what truck you've got.

I used to do it that way but now I buy the muffler of my choice (Thrush Super Turbo) and have my local shop bend and weld the pipe for about the same price as the clamp on stuff from NAPA.

the local muffler and exhaust shop quoted me $444.07thats more than half i paid for the truck. haha

Wow! I think I paid $60? Local Mom and Pop. Or use that money to buy a nice welding set-up!

I paid a mieneke $135 to do a cat back replacement and that includes the price of the cherry bomb muffler.

NAPA is way too expensive anyways. I never use them.
