Custom coil lift 4-5" ???

Hey I Just installed a 4" IFS lift and I've still got my LC coils in the back. I was going to either get coil spacers or new shocks for a 4-5" lift.

My question is would I need to fabricate some 4" drop brackets for the 2 sets of arms that hold the axle in place (similar to the procomp lift that Ive seen) ??

Has anyone else done this and left it alone with no added brackets? BTW I have some 4" drop brackets already for the ARB, and the panhard drop and lspv bracket.

Those are called Torque Rods (or Torque Arms). Yes, you will need a bracket to extend them, if that's what you are referring to. Even though I don't like recommending NWOR, they may be the only place that has what you need. Scroll down on the link and you'll see it. Even though it's only listed for 79-15 trucks, I'm fairly sure it will work for your 4Runner. Call them to make sure

That's the only solution I can think of. Other folks might know better...

Good luck.

Theoretically you should either use the brackets or extend the arms.

You could probably get by without it but your axle placement will be off so it is recommended to take care of the issue.
