MMyota's 1997 4Runner Build-Up Thread

Ok so after years of being out of the toyota picture im finally back in. Found this 97 4runner limited on CL for 2500 (got it for 1700) 304xxx miles on it 2wd auto, cold a/c everything works and in pretty decent condition. The guy said coolant was coming out of the exhaust so when i cranked it up it look as if someone seafoamed the motor cause white smoke was pouring out. After driving it for 10min it all cleared up and has yet to do it again. OK to the buildup section part of this i will need help and yes i do know how to use a search button and use it very frequently but input is always appreciated.
My new runner:

Ok so heres my plan i have a flipped 00 tacoma w the works on it armor, 4.88s, e-locker, 37s, 5spd tranny, and a motor with 115xxx miles on it.
stg 1 of build(drivetrain)
:swap motor, 5spd, tcase, and front and rear diffs
stg 2 (build up)
:swap over saws
:need to buy some sort of rear lift spring for the 4runner to match up with saws
:buy a 2in body lift to prepare for tires
:swap 37s for 35s or possible tub fenders and run 37s

so what do you guys think? before you complain of how cvs and 37s dont match ive wheeled this setup plenty of times i know the consequences i can prolly swap a cv faster than you can change your oil.

so did some more researching today after the white smoke appeared again. Seems as though i have a blown head gasket when its low on coolant it smokes like a frieght train but when i top it off the smoke goes away. I plan on doing my motor swap july 4th weekend i hope that the 4runner last that long on a blown headgasket as long as i keep topping it off.

ok so some updates my major mods dont begin till next weekend...took gold pintstripes off debadged everything except 4runner and toyota symbol on back hatch painted those flat black. I also fixed my blown headgasket using stuff called KandW block seal ~$11. flushed radiator twice filled it up with that stuff changed oil(it looked like yahoo milk) and been checking regularly oil is still clear and radiator hasnt used a once of water so seems like itll hold me over till i can put new motor in(oh by the way i DD this everyday).
Did some work on a friends wj today here is some pics
his lift on (4in)

picture of the wj i built for my wife(my old DD till i got the runner) 6in 265/75/16 MTRs

Believe me I'm more ready to get to the finished project than anyone. Supposed to be getting 35s this week from a buddy, but I'm thinking they wont fit without the body lift . I'm crossing my fingures though the 6 week wait from 4crawler is a real bummer.

So finally set a date for the 3rd member/elocker install.... One week from today almost got everything needed gotta get the gasket from dealership. Stay tuned for a 2wd with 4.88s and a elocker. Oh also got my 35s sitting in my living room waiting for 4crawler to hurry with my order.

yeah that would be easier than swapping piece by piece onto my 4runner but my tacoma frame is bent right behind the rear tires. Oh and my tacoma is IFS.
