GROUP BUY--T-case Brake for 3rd gen 4runner

looking to put together a group buy for driver drop chain driven T-case brake from Sky Manufacturing

They said we would need 50 orders to make it worth their while. For those late model driver drop T-case guys who have switched over to disc brakes in the rear--this will allow you to run chevy regular front calipers and move the parking brake to the T-case--they said it would cost a little more than the current T-case brake on the market for older T-cases ......

Let me know

Henry

Id be interested in buying one for the older gear driven case. Not sure if youd be able to add that to the group buy though

bringing this back from the dead--Remember this is for 3rd gen yotas with Chain T-cases....

Really would like to have one of these---really -- alot.

Sky Manufacturing has made one of these but said they would need a group buy to make it work thier while---so.....50 people interested?

the other great point about going disc in the rear--you can carry spare axles without the large cumbersom drum backing plate......

3rd gen pickup is not the same as 3rd gen 4runners...... You might want to add some year information... I would do it for you but I am driving right now.

Sounds like this kit would be for 95.5-04 Tacomas and 96-02 4Runners. Most likely would also work on 05+ Tacomas, 03+ 4Runners, and 07+ FJ's because those Tcases are relatively the same.

If I'm correct then I'd DEFF be interested.

On another note, try posting this on TTORA.com and Pirate4X4.
You'd probably get a lot more interest from both of those sites compared to here.

Also, I'm wondering what the final price would be as well. 50 orders is ridiculous but...

50 Aint so bad--they need to make money--so figure $250 for labor + Property + Overhead....etc...Maybe as we get closer they will bend a bit...
I'm thinking $250 a pop ($50 more than 4Cyl case)

I think thats not a bad deal.....lets see what happens as we generate interest..

Thanks

But EXACTLY what applications would work?

Maybe I read this thread too fast, but I didn't see a "for-sure" list of applications this new E-Brake T-Case kit would work with.

(I saw Scuba offer his guess.... but not much in terms of a reply)

IF this kit does apply to all "95.5-04 Tacomas and 96-02 4Runners" I wouuld def be interested for my 1999 4Runner.

Keep us posted.
Cheers
