Body Swap or Not

Body Swap or Not
Anybody ever done a 2nd Gen. 4Runner to a 84/85 Shortbed truck chassis swap?
I know that the wheelbase is the same and it seems to me as though this would be basically the same as SASing a 2nd Gen.
I am sure that there would be some body mount issues with the body swap, but there is also the all of the removal and installation issues of a complete front axle in the SAS. Which would be the simpliest way to go?
I'm asking this question because I have a 93 4Runner (3.4 swap completed) and an 84 Shortbed chassis that I would like to mate.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanks.

Well anything is possible... Check out Pirate... A bit of advice just search don't post this over there. Those guys do a lot of crazy swaps like that. I'm sure it's been done it's just a matter of finding documentation on it. Getting the body on the frame would probably be the easy part it would be all the wiring, linkages, ect that goes with it that will cause the headaches.
