turned on my air for the first time this summer as I was driving home from work, got home and turned it off and the idle kept going up and down, 1800 up and then down to 800, up and down it just kept doing it. Shut it down and re started, same thing, next day same thing. I know there is something that ups the idle when you turn on your air to compensate for the extra load on the motor...what is that ??

 

On the 22r there is a valve on top of the valve cover.It will have vac lines to it and on one end is a round cap It will also have wires plugged into it.
