New MaxBore TB

Well finally got everything together and am pleased with results on my 90 22re. I couldn't afford the LC version but George at Maxbore took my TB out to 58mm while cleaning the unit and truing the gasket surface for $130 including shipping back to me. The inlet tube is thin gauge alum built at custom machine for $100, with the Supra AFM and LT1 box top. I also cut the throttle shaft and 'slabbed' the remaining. I think I'm needing a tps adjustment as I have some rpm surge at light throttle. There are no cores supplied by MaxBore- I have my oem TB if somebody wants to ship theirs in for the mod, $65.

Well, at first set the tps to 500 Ohms that didn't work so well, so set up the throttle plate, dp diaphagm, and set the tps with a shim and turning the tps until meter read infinity. Pleased with how the tb works with other mods and works well for driveability. Now looking to replace the supra afm with a maf.

hey cool, that Maxbore place is like 10 miles away from me; I would at least save on shipping if I would have ever decided to use them

They were very good to deal with- more the Honda crowd, I believe he said that was the first Toyota he has done.
