4runner/taco center caps on L.C. wheels

Im sure this has probably been addressed somewhere, however I could not find it. So here goes. I got a set of series 80 L.C. 16x8 5 spokes im putting on a 3rd gen 4Runner. problem is they came without caps. I was looking at the 3rd gen 4Runner/Taco split 3 spokes and the center caps appear the same. Ive heard that these will not work on a L.C. because of the larger hub diameter. Does anyone know if these will work on a L.C. rim on a 4Runner. I have no way of trying them cause my 4runner came with Tundra 5 Stars that have a totally different cap. PLEASE help me with my dilema.

Nope.

The 4runner center caps look the same but are actually a little smaller and won't clip in.
I am assuming these LC wheels...

and I have checked my 4runner 3spoke center caps with them.

yah those be the ones. well the search is on,i guess, for the elusive series 80 center caps. I guess I could go capless, like some here do, but I really like the way they look with the O.E. caps! Anyway
