1997 4runner coolant temp sensor

Anyone know where this is located on a 2.7l on a 1997 4runner I can not find this thing!

i do believe its on the left side of the engine where the upper rad hose connects into the block. It should be attached to a coupler at the end of that hose.

That is the temp sender, the sensor is somewhere else.

Ok I found it and replace the sensor, it fixed the high idle, hard starting, richness when driving, fuel mileage, overdrive not engaging problem. Figured I would let you know that it is directly underneath the heater core lines that come out of the firewall. Really small hands help alot!

Are you able to send me photos of where this thing was located and what had to be done to access it?
