What paint to use for control arms etc?

So I'm working on my truck and want to sand blast and paint the front end parts while I have them off.
Just wondering what you guys recommend for painting things like control arms etc... to protect them from road salt

I was planning on sand blasting and epoxy priming. Just don't know what would be good to use as a final coat

Is Tremclad any good?

I've always thought if I was going to get serious about doing corrosion protection on frame parts, sandblasting and all that jazz, I would use the whole POR-15 "system".

I've heard a lot of good stuff about it, but I think it's a little pricier.

Yep definitely POR-15, I just painted my lower control arms and parts of my frame a few months ago and it's holding up great.

Is the stock color black? I want to paint some of my suspension parts cuz thry are starting to rust but want it to match with the frame color because it's in great shape. I was thinking a semi gloss black?

I've read lots of glowing reports of the KBS product line, specifically their RustSeal product, which is similar to POR-15. Consensus seems to be it works a little better than POR-15 and costs a little less. Or you could use a good chassis paint such as Eastman's Extreme Chassis Black, KBS BlackTop or POR-15's Chassis Coat Black

Treat any rust with a rust dissolver or rust converter that contains zinc to fight the salt. Most products don't have it. This post has info on that:
