Question 4th gen wiper blades?

Just curious if anybody has had to replace their blades yet on a 4th gen and what brand they used. Mine were chattering really bad today and need to replace, but was just curious what anybody else has used.

I was in the same boat. My truck will be 1 year old in Jan. 04. I just went down to the local Advance Auto Parts and got new refills. I was going to go to the dealer, but didn't have time. Supposedly the Toyota refills are very good. I didn't replace the back wiper since I don't use it to much.

Try cleaning with rubbing acohol first to clean off buildup junk.
Most of time will work or replace after about a year

My blades where smudging realling bad but I realized cause I did not use them they must have had dirt on them.

Im not to impressed with the Toyota blade quality, they where excellent when new but lost that fast, usually I replace my blades every 3 years

I replaced mine with PIAA. I have run them on 3 vehicles now and really like them. I don't get any chatter and they seem to treat the windshield like rain-x.

Yeah, not overly impressed here either, just over 6K miles and probably been on for a total of less than 30 min and they already seem shot.

yikes, I've been happy with the blades so far; about 4.5 months now. They've been going good through the rain.
I think stock anything are cheap. My Nissan blades lasted a NY minute before they went to pot.

Is it possible the extreme heat/cold in other climates contribute to the quick demise of the blades? Socal is very mild in comparison.

That is what mine were doing. There was a black line of crud down the driuver side of the windshield where they stop. I replaced them with a set of Bosch Micro Edge and they work great.
