front blinkers not blinking: 94 runner
I just took off my front bumper and replaced a burned out front marker bulb (passenger side), and now neither of the front markers flash. The bulbs glow as running lights, but only the rear markers flash. Also, the relay and rear lights are now switching faster than usual.
Anyone know what the problem is? It's a 94 4runner. I haven't put the bumper back on yet by the way.

Did you remove the blinkers before you removed the bumper? You didn't put any stress on the wires did you?
One of my wires on the drivers side front turn signal fell apart at the connector. When you clipped it into the socket it would just push the little connector down into the socket more.
Test the voltage at the turn signal.

I've got a similar problem my '91 pickup's rear blinkers don't work and the fronts only come on as running lights but don't blink. i've checked fuses and suck but no go. All happened after I took off an old trailer harness but all the truck harness wires are connected properly someone please help.

x2 on the connectors are likely sketchy/corroded.
Did your turn signal lenses function as marker lights before this happened?
On the 3rd gen Runners for example the bumper turn signal is strictly a turn signal unless the wiring has been altered.
If the wiring has been altered then I am suspecting a faulty splice along the way. A fast "busy" turn signal is quite often indicating a bad bulb. Sometimes even a bad rear bulb can affect a front. Especially a dual filament bulb-one that functions as both a stop light and a turn signal or head light indicator and brake function.
tim91 if you removed an existing harness then you likely have an open circuit-meaning it is not grounded out as it needs to be. Replace the harness and just don't use it if you don't need it. Hopkins makes plug and play or easy to splice in trailer converter wiring.
