i got a 88 truck with a V6 and ifs i currently have the t-bars cranked up and running 33x13.50 TSLs and they only scrub when the trucks completly flexed out and then it only touches under the rear fender wells but im looking at getting 34x10.50 LTBs or 35x14 boggers and would like to put a small suspension lift like maybe a 2-3 inch lift i really like the way the tires are tucked up under the fenders now so i really dont want to lift it much more then that and i was wonderin if any one even made a lift i though i saw a kit from daystar that was like 2.5 inches ? and i will not have a body lift on my truck. also going to get new gears and a locker i was wonderin if any one had any input on what gears i should stuff in there this is my dd and would like to still be able to cruise at hwy speeds 60-70 mph with out havin the motor reved to high any input would be great thanks

One thing about a body lift, it makes it a lot easier working on the truck. I would hate working on one of our trucks without it.

I'm curious, are you running stock upper control arms, or something like fabtech? With the t-bars cranked, how much is your front suspension preloaded? I.E. at rest, how far away is the UCA from the bump stop? If it's really close to the bump stop, (how Fabtech recommends in their instructions), you don't have much down-travel available. You don't need down-travel for hitting bumps, but when you hit pot-holes, the suspension can't 'match' the road, causing your truck to fall into the hole, only to bounce out really hard.
