I no this is random but there should be a little light near the gear shifter im pretty sure. and mine is broken does anyone no how to replace them?

its right above the P there is like a little opening. im pretty sure a light works there. if im wrong someone tell me. But if anyone knows how to fix or where to replace reply quick. Thanks

 

well, that little opening is actually for the tab that you push where you can switch your transmission to different gears with the truck off. Regardless, yes there should be a light that lights up the gear lettering/numbering. How you get to it is beyond me, but someone ought to know around here. I believe it's a #74

 

getting to the bulb is a piece of cake, just unscrew the 4wd shifer knob, pull off the console cover, then there are like 3 screws holding the shifter plate on, take those out and then you can pull the shifter lettering off. underneath it is wires, and they go to the bulb. just twist the bottom of it and it will come out

that's what the bulb type number is.. Here, I google shopped it for ya haha
