so to start off my rig is an '01 SR5 4Runner and i had noticed that my gas mileage was getting a bit on the low end so i decided to put some new plugs in and i chose the e3 plugs because i had read some great reviews about them and what a surprise there awesome my mileage is looking great so far

i dont have any hard numbers yet but i will post them when i fill my tank again and i was wondering if anybody else on here has used these plugs and what there findings were

 

Mine are due as well along with some new wires. I think I may get the NGK pugs and wires, but I am interested in what you find.

 

Well my last tank I got 18 miles to the gallon and that was combined but a lil more in city driving and that over 2 miles per gallon more so I'm happy so far haha

 

Man I get 18 miles per gallon now with these old dirty plugs!

 

due to the ignition design of these motors i would not run anything other than the factory denso or ngk with the dual grounds.

 

i can get 20 on the highway staying between 70-75

 

This engine should only run the dual ground side type spark plug shown on sticker on front of timing belt cover.

 

Went today and got the Denso plugs from Vancouver Toyota. $20 for all 6. Then off to the cost less for the NGK wires. 2 hours and done, fired right up.

 

i jus figured that i would try them out bc of the reviews that i had read and am liking them so far and am getting better gas mileage the 18 mpg that i was getting was when i was driving around town alot and i deff get better gas mileage on the interstate but we will c haha might have to make some changes
