Hi was driving my truck on Sat and it just died got it home and it is not getting any spark the coil is good and the plugs, wires and all are new. We are not getting power to the coil any ideas where to go from here I am stuck, is there a fuse or relay or something i dont know about. The truck is an 82 4x4 my dad has had since new.

are all the wires hooked up my dad had the sam problem and all it was tha one of the wires came loose from the coil...

 

Check grounds. You ahve good bat voltage? Alt good? Sure the coils good? check for resistance if its out of spec anywhere replace. check fuses.

 

check the negative wire on the coil same thing happened to mine and if thats good then id say a bad ignighter
