coolant through EGR?

86 22re pickup

Is it possible for the EGR to have enough vacuum to suck coolant into the intake through a leak in the cylinder head rear plate gasket - thus causing a slight mixing of coolant in oil?

Just wanting to determine/eliminate all possibilites. Thoughts?
Contemplating blocking the EGR off.

I blocked mine off.

As far as I know it just pulls exhaust from the header an recycles it back to the intake I don't see anywhere coolant could get in there.

Well, looking at the rear plate, the coolant flows through there allright. Also, exhaust for the EGR passes through its own ports in there.
If a compromise occurs by the gasket at one of the narrow surfaces near one of the two ports...?...just wondering.

Well, no.

Even if the EGR could suck coolant in, the coolant would pass through the EGR valve into the intake and then out the exhaust.

There is no direct passage from the EGR into the crankcase for coolant to mix with oil.
