Help me identify these two wires - '95 4Runner 3VZE

Ok guys I've done some searchin but cant find where these two wires go. I have a repair manual but it dont show anything. My Yota is a 95' 4runner with the 3vze.

The one wire just has your typical female wire end on it, and the other looks like it might just bolt to the fender well somewhere? I'm sure some of you guys will know where they go. Thanks

The first wire looks like one someone tapped for some reason & the 2nd I'm pretty sure is a ground wire that should be attached to the fender well straight under where your hand is.

I have the 95 4Runner but it's raining & cold here so I'm not going outside to look lol Sorry I couldn't be of more help

well the first one looks similar to the one on my pickup that connects to a sensor on the back of the motor (on some coolant thing with some other sensors) but my 4runner don't have that sensor? its wierd

If no one has gotten you answered for certain on the first wire I'll go out & look at mine tomorrow. The second wire I'm almost 100% positive connects exactly where I said it does in my previous post, you musta' missed that. I was just fiddling with mine a couple days ago installing an adjustable e-fan thermostat & remember seeing it there.

Hope it helps gets a few more hits.

oh thanks alot... i have an update too i was running the 4runner for about 15 to 20 mins tonight and the temp gauge never moved so im assuming the one wire goes to the temp sensor... problem is i looked it up in my manual and it showed the sensor being on a sensor block thing on the rear of the motor problem is i dont have a connector there? do certain models not have it there where else would my coolant sensor be?

ok partner; the only wire I have that's a single & that length goes to the sensor in the intake near the base of the heater hose. I can only assume that's the temp sending unit.

Mine doesn't look quite like that though, mine is bone stock. Your end looks like a home crimp on, the wire loom looks like autozone special & the fresh tape indicates it has been "fiddled with" so I can't help you. You might PM Fink & ask him to move this to electrical or PM 4crawler & ask him directly, he's very open & helpful & he's pretty whiz bang on the electric stuff; then peruse his site, tons of good info & a few products to buy you might like.
