Got some BJ spacers for $60
#1
So, I got some steel BJ spacers yesterday for $60. They are 1/2 steel plate, laser-cut. I'm gonna stack 3 so I get 1 1/2 in. lift. Pretty good deal for $60 I think. The guy I got them from works at a local fab shop and he was selling these on CL. I threw in a pic of my truck too. Whatcha' guys think?

the has the potential to rust, whereas the aluminum will not. But I think more of the concern is with the idea of stacking them. I'd make sure to weld them very well. My guess is they'll be fine as long as they're welded.

Ive heard of these before, forget where i saw em.
Seems like stacking them would put a lot of extra unneccessary stress on the 4 bolts, whether or not this actually a concern or not, strength wise i don't really know. But I'd weld em anyway

Yeah, I don't see it being an issue. I wondered if maybe weight was an issue. But, I don't really see why that should matter. I mean, quite honestly, It's simply a spacer between ball joint and UCA, as long as the bolts stay tight, there shouldn't be a problem...
