Motor shudder in a 3.0. . . Timing?
1990 4runner 3.0 3VZE
At first I thought it was steering. But lately I have realized its the motor that is causing the truck to shudder slightly. There are sweet spots in the throttle that it is perfectly smooth, then if I accelerate/deccelerate, It comes back. When its cold, unless I just barely press it above Idle, it won't hardly even move. It also is only getting about 10 mpg. I am starting to think the timing might be part of my problem. Any ideas?
