Wondering about carb interchange.

Wondering about carb interchange.
My carb has been goofy for the last year and the truck now stalls very easily. I was planning on a rebuild but the local yard only charges $10. for a carburetor which would be cheaper than the rebuild kit and I know it's a gamble, but seems worth a shot to me. I could get 3 carbs for the cost of a rebuild kit. Chances are one would work.
My question is if there's a difference among stock carbs for the 22R? Mine is an 87 4x4 pickup. Any difference between years, 4Runners or 2wds? And if so, what should I look for?

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
The only difference that I know of would be the wiring harness connectors...
And I'm pretty sure one is easy to swap, and one is not... But I don't have much trouble with carbs, so I have to draw on real rusty memory...
As long as they're 22R cabs I say gopher it!
The best carbs are virgin carbs... maybe you'll get lucky...
