Removed the tailgate window from my 89 4Runner today, the track at the bottom of the window had rusted away. Typical, eh? I have new parts here but am having a difficult time getting the new lower track assemblies with enw rubber inserts) onto the window. Is there a trick for installing these things? I tried some dishwashing soap to aid te rpocess but that made them too slippery. I can't seem to find the right process to get the new track/rubber assemblies seated onto the window. Anyone help here? Thanks, Shmukster

 

I use bath soap .. dont know if its different then dish soap .. but it works for me
