I was building the 'ole 3vze back up when I noticed that the little plastic piece at the end of the injector (at the stem where the fuel is injected)was falling apart on a couple of my injectors. I was wondering if anyone has ran into this. Toyota sells only with the injector. I can't seem to find it on ebay as part of any injector rebuil kit or anything like that. For now I am going to run the engine without it and see what happens but if I can find a cheap solution then...

I noticed the same thing with mine when I rebuilt it a couple of months ago. I shipped my set off to Dr. Injector and he cleaned them and rebuilt them....good price too!

Just Google Dr. Injector (I sent mine to the Federal Way site)

 

ok... problem solved I didn't even think to check locally. I brought up a google map of my city and just typed in "injector rebuild" and there is a place about a mile away from me
