First i wanted to know if anyone knows where i can get one within the next week because im planing on driving across country and dont want to do it with out that. Also if anyone knows if any other years of this tool work on a 79?? If someone could help that would be great thanks, -Allyn

On my 84 the spare tire winch uses the jack crank handle. Most of the later trucks all have the same type handle, up to the 04 tacomas. However they're multi-piece, and my truck has a one-piece one clipped to the rear cab wall behind the seats.

I made a replacement for my '85 jack with a length of square steel rod with a flat piece welded to the end like a big screwdriver blade. Jack handle is set up with a square hole to fit over the end of the rod.
