Best gasket maker for cold application?

So, I have to make a couple big gaskets outside in my driveway, and it's currently cold (mid-30's F). This is actually on my wife's Saturn (timing chain cover and oil pan), but it's a broad automotive question, and it seems like a few of the people on here would have run up against this situation, so I am asking Yotatech.

Is there a gasket maker that works well when applied at barely above freezing? Anyone have experience with this? I've always used Permatex Ultra Black in the past, and I don't see any application temperature range on the tube. I could also buy gaskets and use a gasket maker as a treatment instead. My gut tells me that might be a better solution here.

Worst case, bring the timing chain cover and the oil pan inside, apply the FIPG, let it set up, then take them outside to install.
