Kumho Road Venture MT KL71

Does anyone here know anything about these tires or have any experience with them? I just saw them for the first time on tirerack.com.

Also noticed the mtr kevlars went up $9/tire on discounttiredirect.com..

loud? no. good in the mud? no. look good driving through the mall parking lot on your 22" chrome wheels? you betcha.

Do a search, this tire in particular has been discussed more than once Seriously, what can you really expect out of a "mud tire" whose tread depth is half of what your typical mud tire is? Procomp, buckshots, bfg, even dunlops average at LEAST 20/32" new tread depth. Some considerably more. These new are 15/32". This is about what you would find on your standard michelin street tire.

A few people around here run them. The Kumho's are good looking and do fairly well in deep snow conditions, but not so much on packed snow and ice. Lack of siping really hurts their performance there. They do just OK in mud and pretty well on the rocks. Noise wise, they're not really any louder than the typical M/T tire. Overall, they're decent, but you could do better.
