The other day i picked up a 2wd pickup with the 22re cheap because it doesnt run. I traced it down to the motor is not getting fuel. Itll run if you spray fuel into the intake and if i hook up a jumper wire to the fuel pump the pump will get fuel to the rail, dont have a gauge to check pressure, but it will only run till it burns through the fuel sprayed in the intake.

 

Next to the AFM is a conector and if you jump those two wires the fuel pump will run as soon as you turn the key on, try that and see if it will start.
