Clearance Issues with a 5.0 in IFS Toyota?

I would like to know if anyone has any info on clearance issues they ran into when installing a 5.0 in a IFS truck/4runner.

GOAL:
I would like to keep it with no more than a inch body lift.

Convert to 2WD
Mine is a 4x4, I'm more than willing to remove the front diff for clearance.

This truck will not be for hard core wheeling, but used as a daily driver and camping trips on forest roads only.

Thanks,
Ryan

i would istall a oil pan for this conversion, you can get one from summit, jegs, advance adapters or northwest off-road. i would stick with the 4wd, removing the front diff would be more work than needing, i have seen people do that and i just think "what a waste of
4x4" buy a 2wd if you really want one, just my 2 cents

and by the way, a body lift gives clearance from the motor and trans to body, so if you are worried about motor and diff clearance, they only way is to modify or buy a oil pan
