which pinouts for knock sensor wires on ecu

I have a 98 4runner. I have the schematic for my ECU terminal plugs and pinouts but not the description of what is what.

Specifically need to know which are the 2 knock sensor wires. I have an FSM but its for 2000 4runner which is different in that regard..has more plugs.

Please advise if you know which ones they are or have the link to 98 4runner FSM. I searched but the thread with the links to several FSMs was no longer valid.

answer

in case anyone ever needs this data:

Knock 1 B-10 Black; Knock 2 B-14 Gray

**edit** looks like B15 is black knock 1 not B10 as URD told me; nothing is in B10
B10 may be for CA spec

The short wire inside the intake manifold is usually the first wire to fail. About $10 last time I checked. My local dealership had one in stock.

If you're checking at the ECM, the knock wires are shielded, like coax television cable, only thinner.

You can use an oscilloscope to check them, but it's probably the knock wire under the intake manifold.

Ive already replaced the wire harness under intake mani...still got the 2 codes...so then I remembered I had the two knock sensors spliced together before i replaced the wire harnss to run the test..to see if only one code would show whch would mean its a sensor vs harness...

so after putting 2 knck wire back together I get a P0340 code(cam sensor)WTF...
comes right back after clearing as opposed to knock codes which comes back after couple rpm cycles.

Toy mech friend gave me the coax wires to spice into new harness then run to ecm knock wires. says thats what they do at toy as the other sub harness
goes bad. If this does not fix then its either ECM or sensors..hes leaning more towards ecm,,,says sensor nevr go bad.

not sure why cam sensor code is coming on now tho?

1) Knock sensors DO go bad. I had #1 go. Spliced around it . Ran it about 3 years that way. Other one finally went. Replaced both in one shot.

2) I have a 98 Tacoma. As I recall the KS wires at the ECU were both grey & slightly fatter than the other wires in the connector. They were definitely not shielded at the ECU.
