Window Felt for 4Runner or Pickup!

I need new window seals or window channel felt for around the driver and passenger doors of my 1988 4Runner. The wind noise is even drowning out the 32's, the exhaust leak, and i cant hear what my wife is saying......wait never mind i will deal with the noise.....just kidding! Anyone know who sells new seals for the windows please let me know. Thanks in advance!

If you want to do it on the cheep, you could go to a Hardware store and get some weatherstripping and use that to seal it. you could even spray it black before you put it on and make it look pretty.

True, would love to get replacements, but that may work as a temporary fix. Thanks never even thought of it lol.

Any of you guys have an idea how to fix a door that has been pulled out at the top and broken? The damn snow blows in past my head when I drive.....

I will be going to the dealer for the outside rubber piece.

Depends what you mean by broken. I had an old S10 that got an aftermarket door and the top window frame was about 3/4" from the body roof.
I cranked the window down. Put a 2x4 through the window opening and gently pryed the window frame towards the roof working back and forth with the door open. Constantly check closing the door and rolling the window back up. Then adjust the window.

Hope that helps,
Jamie

When trying to gauge the tightness of the seal after you have bent the window frame, use a dollar bill, what i mean is shut the dollar bill in the door if there is tightness on the dollar bill (a little tough when you pull on it) its perfect. Too tight wears the seal out around the door, too loose and wind passes by it. if you roll down the window, place your knee about where the arm rest is and GENTLY pull on the window frame with two hands, you can realign the top of the frame this way.

The top of the window fram is out about a half an inch and at the front of the door where the window frame meets the main body of the door is a huge crack. It looks like someone tried to pry the door open enough to slide a child into the drivers seat. I did notice that the rubber seal think is all gone on there also so it may be as easy as the 2x4 trick and some new sealy stuff.
