dual ? and 4.7 ?
i was planing to put 4.7s in my case now the upgrade to duals later. i have notice everone sets up there cases 2.28 front , 4.7 rear. can you run it the other way around? and is 4.7 going to suck with 33s and 4.37s?

Low range gears only affect just what they say...low range. So therefore, lower tcase gears could never "suck" on the road, since high gear on the tcase is 1:1 aka straight through. I run the lower gears in the rear case, and I like it better that way. Besides, if 1st gear is too low with the 4.7 gears in low range, just shift your trans to 2nd or 3rd gear.

you can run the 4.7 in the front case but it would put a ton of torque on the out put shaft, hence why they recommend the 4.7 in the rear case.
one thing-if you get a donor case for a dual set up..try to make sure you get one from an 81+ I have found that the output shaft on 79-80's are slightly different and won't correctly engage other toy transmissions with out some work...
