HID's Installed, fog lights don't work
Hey Guys,
I just put in a set of HID's into my 99 4runner. And now my fog lights do not work.
I noticed the H4 bulbs stock are a 3 prong plug and my HID's are a 2 prong plug. So I'm missing something, but what do I need to do.
Thanks!

Im guessing you are talking about the Limited Fog Lights..
And on that note.... Hmm. Im not sure. I didnt think the fog lights ran on the same circuit as the head lamps so they should have interfered... But maybe the 3rd wire was a ground wire.. Try splicing it off and grounding it and seeing if the fog lights come on then.
Just a suggestion, see as I dont have the limited lights, just running off knowledge of head lamps.
Anyone else got an idea?

I tested the spare prong for ground with my multi meter and got nothing, I was in a hury as it was my lunch break so haven't had a chance to really dig into it.
I'm guessing the third prong completes the circuit, because the fogs turn off when the high beams are applied.
