dude, before you put it on..make sure you BRACE those tubular UCA's...i've heard stories of them failing..so brace em good!

other than that, rebuild the hubs, and probably might as well replace the shocks too

i still totally hate you though, first the TJM, and now the lift!?!?

but i think i need to find me a job so i can jump on some of the deals that i find

is this the 4" kit, or is this the older 3" kit?

I heard te 4" kit is stronger than the 3"? i heard it didn't need bracing what so ever. this kit came with everything... bolts and all. This is the newer 4" lift kit. and doesn't require trimming for the BJ spacers, which is mostly the reason I got them.

I really have no clue in what condition the hubs are. I know they came off an 86 toyota 4x4 single cab short bed. thats about it. they have new gaskets and are well greased...

haha I bet I still need to get a few things before I put them on. Im upgrading to 23.5 torsion bars from OME. and I am going to be replacing the shocks. they have leaks and the boots are all torn. might as well spend 50 bucks each side for shocks, right? right...

I have a rancho lift, 3 ", as camo said brace the upper arms. I went into the store one day, came out and the pass wheel was up in the wheel well,Dang. I got home , removed the arm and had it welded. Rancho wanted nothing to do with me, mmmmmm. Fine.

Teuf do you have the 3" or 4" lift kit? the 4" lift kit was built with stronger brackets / welds. has everyone seen this thread? im going off this exact build. If i need to brace the arm I will. But I do not wheel that hard...

Mark nice find! I have a Rancho kit manual I can send you copies of if you need it? I don't see the Rancho centerlink in your pictures? You MUST use the Rancho centerlink, otherwise you will have some quirky steering characteristics as the suspension cycles. Body roll in turns will also affect things. Keep the kit RED! Its a classic!

Have you read the information I submitted a while back about the Rancho Kit here a yotatech? Here is the URL link https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...travel-190603/
