Grille Swap

Hey guys I did a search on this but didnt really get any definitive results, I have a 95 Pickup and I want to swap a 89-92 Pickup grille. ( I like it how it says "Toyota" instead of the toyota logo) Will there be any necessary modifications or are the grilles interchangeable?

short answer... NO...

you will have to do some extensive surgery to the front clip to get it to fit correctly...

from what I've read on this site, going 89-91 to 92-95, and vice versa, pickup grills is easy, its trying to put the 4runner grill/headlight fronts on pickups that is difficult.

Oh whoops when I said 89-92 I meant 89-91. The 92's have the same style grille as my 95. Well according to the posted info, they are interchangeable. And I have also heard that swapping the newer style 4runner grilles to the pickups is what takes a lot of modifications. Well it looks like next time I head to 4xToys ill be grabbing a old grille and a set of Aisins!!! Thanks for the info guys!!! Cheers
