absolutely not

your 3vze (3.0l V6) is a single overhead cam engine, while a 5vz (3.4l V6) is a dual overhead cam engine

completely different engines

thank you. i will keep lookin around. my trucks engine just pooped out on me. so my dad and i are gonna do a top end rebuild. which sucks but o well. and i figured while we r takin the engine apart i could put a high performance cam on to increase power.

well, if you search the forums a bit, you'll find that the 3.0's are no power-house, so don't expect a HOLE lot

swap in a 3.4. You can grab one out of a wrecked one in a junk yard for as much as your gonna pay for a cam.

well that would REALLY make since, cause then he'd pay twice as much for just the cams, cause it's a v6 and needs two cams, not just a cam

yeah the 3.4 swap is VERY common, and I have no doubt that now everyone that visits this thread is going to suggest it

Hey someone had to say it. When I posted up that Carb suggestion thread I started it was brought up. Don't want power just want mine to run like its supposed to. Haha. Besides a 3.4 for me is outta the question if I ever to decide to run BITD 7100 or Score 7 with this thing.

I am stuck with the 22r(e) or the 3.slow in the 7100/7. Since this chassis didnt come with the 3.4. Although I might be mistaken but I think there might be a class for the 4cyls seperate from the 7 class. Unless i just run sportsman and don't compete. Then its a 351 SB stroked to a 427 for me hehe. Yes it can be done. http://www.mustangandfords.com/techa...kit/index.html
