Amsoil Air Filters - gauging interest

For the Amsoil junkies out there and for everyone else who may be missing out:

Amsoil recently started a line of "Ea" air filters,
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/eaa.aspx

What stands out to me is the efficiency of the filter, the volume of dirt it can hold, and the potential savings over replacing the factory paper filter over and over.

These look like an excellent product but they do not offer it for the 22re. I contacted a tech and they didn't know if there were any plans to offer it.

I would like to gauge the interest of the YT community in this product. If we can show that alot of us are interested it may be worth a shot to request the product from them.

they may not be planning on making it for the 22re specifically but im sure other motors use the same size flat filter...right? and if not they will be making some sort of universal cone performance filters in the future, if you dont mind upgrading a lil bit

Yeah I think they may already have some sort of cone filter. Good idea on checkin' if other filters fit though.

I finally checked into this. Robert's right, if you search the product application guide for the 2000 4Runner 2.7L they offer a filter for it. Product is EAA206-EA

This is for Fram product # CA6690. Assuming a 1989 22re airbox is the same as a 1988 22re airbox I should be good to go!
