b16ateg's 1990 Pick Up Build-Up Thread

Hello to all!! well i got my hands on a 1990 pick-up that needs a lot of work to be road worthy. I love the site and am excited to get my hands dirty with a build of my own. Plans for the build are just to get this beast on the road with as little money as possible. The truck is sitting on 35 pro comp all terrains, has a 22re 5.29 gears 6 inch susp. 3 inch body.Any tips, pointers or feedback is appreciated.

as it sits now

Looks good, you're getting a lot done. In my personal opinion i think you should take off the body lift... Its very gross looking IMO. I just think that much of a lift should only be present on a SAS'd Toyota. But if you wanna keep it all top heavy and oddly placed go ahead aha i am just putting my opinion forth. Id say put the 35's away for a different day, after it has lockers and such. Effectiveness off road > 35's. Just because i know (from seeing it with my own two eyes) a lift, 35's, and cool rims wont get you very far on a trail with guys who are running stock height 31's and lockers.
