New Radio for 3rd gen 4runner

So i just got 4 pioneer speakers and a pioneer radio. i put in the speakers no problem but when i went to do the radio i couldn't get power to it. so i went to best buy and apparently there's a factory amp that has to be integrated or bypassed, and for them to do it is $142 which seems ridiculous to me. Does anyone know how to wire it? Any help would be appreciated

Go to Walmart or online. Buy a wiring harness made for a Toyota. Connect wiring harness to new headunit. Plug in.

Go online and buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Toyota-Tundra-RA...item2ea9ec0427

Then, wire that to your stereo correctly, remove the factory amp (not needed since the radio has a built in Amp) and use the plugs that go into the amp, in the new plugs you just bought online.

The reason your radio doesn't work now is because you wired into the amp, and wired it wrong.

Well i had cut the factory connector off already, so all the connectors aren't going to help. I got a wiring diagram of the factory harness and wired it up yesterday, there was power to the radio but no sound. I just need to find the right diagram i think the one i found was wrong

Could have sworn i just explained it....

Lets try again.

There are TWO connectors that plug IN to the factory amp. There is then ONE connector that comes OUT of the amp. Based on how you explained it, you cut off the plug coming OUT of the amp, then wired it based on those colors. Which is wrong. You need to remove the amp, (at which point you will find the two factory plugs that go INTO the amp), then purchase the connectors, and wire the connectors to your radio. THEN, you can simply plug into the plugs that were previously plugged into the amp. There will be two, one larger and one smaller. If you only cut off one LARGER plug coming FROM the amp, you wired it wrong.
