Oil out around the distributor shaft?

Have a oil leak somewhere on the drivers side that I can't seem to find. Pulled the power steering pump off and set it off to the side so I could get a better view and ran the engine after cleaning things off and for the life of me I can't see any leak. It appears to be dripping onto the alternator belt/alternator and getting flung everywhere when it is leaking, can oil creep up the distributor shaft and drip out there? There appears to be some sort of ring/gasket at the top of the shaft, don't know if it's supposed to be hard like mine, or a soft o-ring. Any input? Thanks.

There is an o ring on the distributor that can go bad and cause an oil leak, you have to remove the complete distributor to change the o ring.

yeah, already have it out, my o-ring is just so hard it feels more like a nylon ring. Did some Bing'n, I think I'll just pick up a new o-ring and saw off the old one Only $3.50 for a new one and appears to be a somewhat common spot for a leak.

The o rings become hard from the engine heat over the years and start to leak.
