So I've done quite a bit of research on the TRD tundra coils for lifting the 3rd gen 4runner, and I know if buying new I should ask for 4x4 TRD Tundra coils from a 2004 double cab, but I couldn't find a definite answer on what other years and models share the same springs. When buying used, many times the owners don't know exactly what they have. Someone local is selling 4x4 TRD Tundra coils/struts off of a 2000 access cab.

1. Are all 4x4 TRD Tundra coils the same for double/access cabs for the same year?

2. Are the 4x4 TRD Tundra coils the same for all years(2000-2004)?

 

Call TRDparts4u They know and can sell you the coils.

 

Also i believe that you need to modify the top plate retainers, so just buying coils off a Tundra may not be as easy as you think.
