I modified a 2nd gen TJM to fit a 3rd gen

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/2...runner-186040/

It was easier than than fabricating from scratch, but still alot of work.

After looking into this closer, I realized that the center hoop and the headlamp guards would be all off... Still haven't decided if fabbing one up myself is worth the time spent on it...Guess I'll start the rear bumper this weekend and see how long that takes.

I have built both a front and rear bumper for my 4runner. The front was simple compared to the rear.

My front took a couple of days.

The rear... I started it a few years ago. Got the main back and sides done in a couple of days. I just re-started to finish it. I just spent 2 full days on it and should finish it today. I also built a tire carrier while I was at it.
