Tune-up. Mine's been taking longer too..seems to be a gas issue, though. Last winter, not matter what the temp (and it regularly drops below zero here), it would fire right up. Pump the gas once, and it should be good. If not, check you plugs, wires, cap & rotor, plus timing. Make sure your carb is in good working order.

After a good tune up and no luck, try advancing your timing just a fuzz...

84 22r with 135K. Starts right up. Runs a little rough for a few seconds(choke?). Then runs smooth at about 1400rpm. Hit the gas and it idles down to about 950rpm. Idle needs set better and fast idle cam not working properly. Other than those little quirks it fires right up. I had a 85 22re and the 22r cold starts just as well.

Mine seems to be a fuel issue. Does yours always start hard when cold, or only after sitting for a while? Mine took a little cranking this morning, after sitting all night, at 1*F, but fired right up after sitting for 3 hours, and only warmed up to 2*F, so I'm kinda thinking my fuel might be draining back?...Or something. Anyways, if it just always does it when it's cold, I'd definitely just look into a tune up.
