Tranny oil. Did I screw this up?

I recently changed the gear oil in my 95 4runner. Its a 5spd. v6 3.0. On the FSM I have downloaded it says that the oil capacity is 2.3 qts. On several other posts I have seen where people are saying 3.2 and there are pics of someones FSM posted that say 3.0. Also in my searching I found where there seemed to be controversy over where the drain plug and fill plug are. Mine were on the passenger side. Im about to get back under there and double check. Everything is covered in oil down there so its hard to tell but something seems screwy. I would hate to think that i dumped oil in the bell housing or something ha.

On my 94 runner 5spd the fill plug for the tranny is on the driver side...and the drain is on the pass side.....

You fill the tranny, t case, and diffs till oil starts to come out of the fill hole (if your parked on level ground

Ok I went back and checked it. The plug that I had pulled the first time worked. Its just higher up and on the passenger side. I went back and was able to add almost another quart before it reached the fill line at the driver side plug. So all is well. I just was about a quart shy.
