please help i put k&n on and blow efi fuse every time i try to start truck

my truck is a 93 4x4 22re. i mounted a k&n on the throttle body, the plug that connects to the mass air sensor has many little pins on it. when i plug it back in and try to start the truck it acts like it wants to start for a second but does not, it keeps blowing efi fuse under the hood. im wondering if i bent one of the pins on the plug that connects to the mass air sensor etc. thanks for any help

What did you do about the AFM on the airbox if you mounted an air filter directly to the TB?

there is your problem. put the stock intake tube, filter box, and AFM back on the truck and take the cone filter back to where ever you got it from. if you feel the need to run a k&n filter still, buy the flat replacement filter that goes in the box. your not going to gain anything from it either way though.

When you removed the plug did you remove the clip or the screws to take it off.

If you removed the screws it is now broken.
