hydraulic brake booster and MC question

How often does your brake booster kick on?
specifically for a 2002 4runner limited.

next Q if it is turning on more then it should, could the master cylinder be leaking inside itself?

had my gf help me bleed my brake over 9 months ago and im pretty sure she put the pedal to the floor. now every time i hear the brake booster go off, i cant help but imagine that she busted a seal in the MC. is there any way to check this?

Thank you YT.

Huh-- you mean the ABS pump. I couldnt tell you but i havent heard of them going bad either. Do the pedals feel fine? Does it stop and the ABS work correctly? If the answers are yes--its probably in your head

In my 01, which is the same as your 02, it goes on often. Almost every time I use the brakes.
