Major sway issues after lifting 99 Prerunner

I had an Icon 2.5" lift put in with add a leaf and bilstein 5100's. The truck sway is huge now and is very hard to control, to the point of it being dangerous if you hit a pot hole at high speeds.

I don't know much about this truck but what can be done to fix this? Basically what parts would I need? Everything else is pretty much stock except the steering bushing. Tires are only 31 with stock rims. Another question, can I go to 33's on this ride or will I get wheel rub issues? It's the 99 2wd PreRunner with the off road package, not even sure what that is.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I would start with getting a wheel alignment if you have not done so yet.
Make sure the sway bars are still on the truck.

It's aligned. Why would the sway bars be off the truck?

because it's a 99 2wd 4runner.......................DUH.......the only 4runner's to EVER come from the factory with leaf springs were the 1st gens from 1984-1989

and you wouldn't have replace the coils with leaf springs if you dont even know what the offroad package is..lmao..

I'm talking about a prerunner man, not a 4 runner. You don't even know what you are talking about.

Icon coilovers are stiffer than stock springs, so I don't know how it is so sloppy that you're almost losing control...make sure you're stock sway bar is connected in the front, that's the end of it really. if you want to put a sway bar in the rear go for it, but the leaf springs are stiff enough to not need one.

if you magically got coils in the rear as camo stated, yea then get the hellwig .

Yotatech is known primarily for 4runners, ttora.com has a prerunner section you can post in if you want to get even more specific.

I had an '01 tacoma for 4 years, just cause I have a 4runner now doesn't mean I don't know what i'm talking about. Yes, prerunners all had swaybars. Plus, 4runners and Tacomas have essentially the same front suspension.
