nope. just leave it, and thats is certainly much less than "half" I'd let it drain for about 3 seconds if you pull the plug but just don't worry about it. Depending on your engine it probably burns some anyways lol

but no, that much oil shouldn't effect it to much. I'd unscrew the drain plug for 1.5 seconds and that should make your oil the right level.

3 seconds = 1 quart drained --> rule of thumb dont quote me on it.

I'd say that's only about 1/2 quart over, I'd leave it. What did you put in 6 quarts?

Should be fine. I personally have an oil pump ($10), and would pump some out via dipstick, but it's up to you.

Don't listen to the guy supporting Obama's new healthcare reform.

Have Obama suck that 1/2 qt. out - I hear he's good. OOOH, and since it's yours, maybe he can give it to an illegal immigrant along with some social security, free healthcare, maybe even a little free education for his 10 kids.

6 quarts is what mine regularly takes with a Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter; puts it right at the full mark, 5 1/2 quarts only gets me to the middle mark.

Anyone else have the same experience?

Its fine just don't do all the time. The 22r-e holds 4.5 quarts with filter so yea. Lets just not put anymore than that..... too much oil can cause it to blow.....
