Flowmaster origianal 40 or Delta Flow 40? Opinions? thanks

SO i can't really decide between getting a Flowmaster 40 Original series or Delta flow for my 1995 toyota pickup 4wd 22re. I'm planning to put it on 2.25" piping with a pipe inplace of my cat for easy replacement when needed. Does anyone know the difference between these mufflers? and opinions? thanks !

The delta flow is quieter. You can go on to there website and look at the muffler designs. I have the 40 series delta flow on my truck.

im pretty sure the delta flow is quiter than the 40. i have a 70 el camino ss with the 40's and you can hear it blocks away, but my friend has a late 60's truck with the same engine as mine and deltas and its considerably quiter. its personal preference really, do you want loud or quiet

I have a 2" delta flow. Its the smallest one they make...because I just wanted to be able to slip it over my stock exhaust w/o cat and run it like that. It sounds good at 3k rpm. I like it!

well i would like it to be loud on the outside just not on the inside of my truck. i will have it piped all the way out to where the stock piping goes. still iffy but leaning towards the delta flow even tho my friend says original.

I had a delta flow 40 on my truck. Took it off after a while cause it was too loud, replaced it with a 50 series much nicer to drive now way less drone.

I also have the 50 series on my truck, the Deltaflow model. I experimented with several mufflers, including Magnaflow. I like the Flowmaster better. it's got a nice mellow sound, and it's not buzzy.
