Ok so heres the deal, I have a buddy who has access to a CNC machine and knows how to run it and what not. I asked him about making some bj spacers and he said it wouldnt be a problem he just needs the dimensions. What would be the best way about getting these? Anyone who has already done this got the dimensions or even the CAD file? What is the most critical areas to get exactly right? Im guessing the bolt holes are the main thing and what else?

 

Take the ball joint out and trace the base of it and then you'll be certain to have the right pattern. The dimensions are half of what you're paying for when you buy something like that.

I personally even drew them up on AutoCAD a while back








unfortunately for you, my measurements are based off of a manufacturer's actual product, and sharing them would be copyright enfrindgement, BUT, making you're own is definately possible, as they're not all that complicated

ok sorry I couldnt find it searching. now what exactly are the little cuts for is there something those fit around? I think I will go grab a bj from autozone tommorow, that idea seems so obvious now

 

the 4 holes are obviously where your bj studs pass through from the ball joint mounting plate to the upper control arm. the notch in the corner is for drainage. it should be facing downward after installation.
