On my way home from the store this morning I was cruising at about 25 in 3rd, and thought I heard something. I turned the radio off, and there was a very audible clicking noise when I would be holding the gas about about 1.5k RPM. If I pushed in the clutch, it would go away. I keep hearing it now, and would like to know what it may be?

Valve Clatter?

Rod bearing knocking?

Exhaust manifold leak? (If it's only doing it under load, this is what I would suspect.)

 

Turn your radio back up, these engines tick.
